Not Just Jazz Guest Artist - Joshua White

We were lucky enough to have Clarinetist Joshua White play as a guest artist at two of the Not Just Jazz concerts.

16 year old Josh began playing the Clarinet just 6 years ago.

He started learning from a teacher at Taupo Nuia Tia College then, while he was coming backward and forward to the Hawkes Bay to gain experience from the excellent bands over here, he met local teacher Julia Redfern, who is now is full time teacher.

Joshua is also a pupil at Lindisfarne College and is working towards his A.T.C.L. Exam on the clarinet (in a few weeks). He also dabbles with playing the Bagpipes, Alto Saxaphone, Oboe and Piano!

Joshua was accompanied by Margaret Cooper for his performances.
