We had such an amazing experience in New York singing with DCINY at the Lincoln Center.
Rehearsing with members of 17 other choirs under the baton of Tim Seelig was a memory we will never forget. We also got to meet Stephen Schartz (Godspell, Wicked, Pippen) who was the main organiser of the music. Singing in the Lincoln Center was acoustically fantastic, and the balance of sound that we created was just beautiful. Please check out the live stream from DCINY on our video page. Thank you to all our sponsors especially Shattky Optometrists and Resene, and supporters that helped us get there. It was a once in a lifetime experience.

We had our last NZ rehearsal for Tyler's Suite last night at the lovely Duart house. Only one more sleep until we fly off to NYC!
The music is sounding great especially with the return of our tenor one guys making the mens section sound even more amazing. Keep checking our Facebook page for updates while we are away for updates. https://www.facebook.com/FoursCompany/ It is with the greatest delight we can report that after 2 years of hard-out fundraising (and with the support and generosity of so many wonderful people in Hawke's Bay) Four's Company Performance Choir is finally about to "Make It There"!! 26 performers and 6 supporters will be winging their way to New York on Sunday 28th of May (only 10 sleeps to go) to perform "Tyler's Suite" at the Lincoln Center for Performing Arts on Sunday June 4th at 2pm.
As many of you have been a part of our journey and (hopefully) continue to be fans, we wanted to share the LIVE STREAM link so that you can catch our New York concert LIVE via the DCINY Facebook Page. You don't have to have a Facebook account to watch it, just click on the link and you'll be away. ... The concert will be streaming at 6am NZ time on Monday 5th of JUNE - Queens Birthday Weekend (which will be 2pm Sunday 4th of June in NY). Our performance of "Tyler's Suite" is only one half of the programme - there is another choir singing works by a brilliant young choral composer "Ola Gjeilo" as well and at this stage we are not sure if we are the first or the second half of the concert..... but either way we're sure you'll enjoy the entire thing if you can manage to get up that early on a holiday weekend!! LOL! HERE IS THE LINK: Four's Company NY Concert - DCINY Live Stream Link So, as we proudly step out onto the World Stage, we would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you for your unbelievable generosity and support - we couldn't have done it without you!! Much Love from all of us at Four's Company... For those who cannot get to New York to watch us sing Tyler's Suite at the Lincoln Center, then you are in luck.

We have been busy sewing up our outfits for our New York Concert.
It is getting exciting now with only 7 weeks til we leave for the big apple. Our rehearsal schedule has been emailed to us and we are busy learning our parts. Very exciting!!! We had a lovely weekend spreading Christmas cheer. We had 3 perfomances in 3 churches in 3 towns and had such great audiences in each venue. With special guest artists Grace Notes and Jamie on Cello. Special thanks to St Matthews Church, St Luke's Church and Trinity Church for letting us use their beautiful churches to sing in. What wonderful acoustics!! We had two fantastic concerts over the last one.
The first one was at the beautiful Birdwoods Gallery and Sweet Shop which had a special evening as part of the Holly Hospice trail. It was a lovely evening with people sitting in the garden eating platters and drinking Pimms listening to us sing. We had some wonderful solo performances by Antonio Della Barca and K-Ci Williams. Last night we got to perform for the Hastings Womans Dinner Club as their entertainment. What a lovely audience! We had Antonio and K-Ci sing again as well as a lovely song from Sydnee Vercoe, Now only a few more weeks til our last Public concerts for the year which are 3 Little Christmas concerts throughout Hawkes Bay. We had a fabulous time going on a road trip to Taupo to join the Stellar Singers in a one off concert. It was a great team building trip for us and and we had a blast doing a joint number with another choir.
it was great singing in a different town and venue and audience and we are looking forward to collaborating with the Stellar Singers in the future. We are very pleased to be invited to sing at Birdwoods Gallery as part of their inclusion with the Holly Hospice trail. This is on Thursday 10th November from 5pm and is free to attend.
