For the Four's Company Christmas concert with the Hawkes Bay Symphony Orchestra, we will be singing some songs written by the composer John Rutter.
He is a British composer, probably most famous for writing Choral pieces for the Royal wedding between Prince William and Kate Middleton. He also wrote a piece for the Queen's Golden Jubilee. The music he writes is beautiful and polyphonic, but extremely tricky to learn. The Bases, and Tenors are having a work out! We are also singing a three part song written just for female voices which is starting to sound amazing. We love a challenge and these songs are going to be a treat to hear backed by the Orchestra.
